Hi, my name is Lilla and I live with my family in Koog aan de Zaan.
In my daily life, I am very much into plants, but for as long as I can remember, I was always also into my second passion:
discovering new recipes and flavors.
Every culture has so many different recipes, it’s a kind of legacy passed down from generation to generation. During my travels I sought out local stores, visited markets, and whenever possible, took cooking classes with local people, often just in someone’s home, and preferably with family recipes. It is so special to really get to know people’s culture in this way.
These experiences gave me incredibly beautiful moments and enriched my knowledge of preparing dishes. This is why I decided to give back now. I would like to introduce Dutch culture to others through this way.
